Gevonden bij Ford Brazilië (vraag mij niet hoe ik op die site kom :) )
Een KA met iets anders gestileerde achterzijde (wel herkenbaar KA) en een vrijwel ongewijzigd neusje met een iets andere opening in het onderste gedeelte van de bumper.
Verder met 1.0 Zetec RoCam (65pKA) of 1.6 Zetec RoCam (95pKA). :mrgreen: Ik zie zo gauw geen info over een kleine diesel ā-la TDCi. Maar Brazilië is misschien niet zo'n diesel land. Maar kan het ook over het hoofd hebben gezien want mijn Braziliaans is non-existing. ;)
Helaas kan ik niet linken aan jpg-jes want de foto's zijn in een flashje gestopt.

Kies 'showroom' en kies daarna 'carros'. Vervolgens 'ka' kiezen en even rustig op je in laten werken.
Die site ziet er trouwens beter uit dan die van Ford NL. :happy:

Oh?! :eh: Ik wist van het bestaan van die net ff anders Braziliaanse Ka niet af. Maar wordt dit model nu ook in Europa ingevoerd of is het echt alleen voor de Braziliaanse markt als tegenhanger voor de Ka die hier wordt verkocht? :wacko:
Volgens mij is dit puur voor de zuid-Europese markt. Kijk maar naar de oude Ford Fiesta, die verkopen ze ook als sedan, terwijl die hier alleen als hatchback was te verkrijgen.

Ok...ik nee sprech netherlands, so i will ask some appologize here and tell about the Brazilian KA, it is a very nice and fun car to drive, but a little small, my sister got one, and it is very nice in the traffic, very smart and easy to drive, here in Brazil we got this new Ka, well, new only in the back, because in the front still the same, but what i was looking for was the picture of the Ka 4 doors, that was in the Turinī98 exposition...
So this is my first contribution.

Ja, maar da's een andere uitvoering van hetzelfde autootje. Daar kan ik mij nog wat bij voorstellen. Die Braz-Ka is hetzelfde autootje met andere styling (achterzijde, voorbumper) en andere motor. Dat betekent wijzigingen in de productielijn tov de Europese fabrieken. Lijkt mij niet echt handig voor Ford. :eh:

Regarding the mentioned four doors Ford Ka, did you mean the Ford Touring, see the pictures beneath.
When so, I can tell you that, unfortunately, this was only a prototype. Wish they placed it on the production line...don't think they will. Sorry m'te.

Finally a question regarding your sisters Ford Ka, which engine does it have, can you reproduce some details and figures regarding the speed, use of gasoline et cetera?

Waren ze bij Ford maar net zo gek als bij Chrysler. Die smijten bijna elke concept op de productielijn. ;)

First of all i really wanna thank you for those pics....amazing, isnīt it ?
well here in Brazil we use a lot of the 1.0 motors, because the government give some taxes discount to the factories who uses that kind of engine...it was in the begining of the 90īs they use a name for that "popular car", but in fact everybody puts an air conditioning, because the sun is very angry over here !!! :mrgreen:
I Believe in Europe they prefere a heater then an air conditioning, and we donīt have the solar roof, and basicaly there are two kind of motors, the 1.0 and 1.6 Zetec Rocan, in the first begining of the production it was used the 1.0 endura, but now it is over.
Here we donīt use diesel for passengers gars, only for pick ups and trucks, so there is no Diesel Ka avaliable, we got some very interesting samples of Ka runing over our streets, the Ka XR, very sofisticated, and a Ka BLACK, all in leather, 1.6 it is a master piece, very , very, very nice to have one, if, of course you got the money to spend in one, but is very rare to see one, because is very expensive, itīs more expensive than a peugeot 206, or a Fiat Palio, or a VW Gol (VW GOL is the brazilia Best seller over 16 years, it is in his 3 generation.)
Here in my state there are one Ford Plant, and produces the new Fiesta and the new for car called ECO SPORT) it is called the Amazon Project....it is ridiculous because we are miles away from amazonia rain forest...hahahahaha...we are in Bahia....

This is the Ford Eco Sport, itīs produced here in Bahia, and exported to all Latin America, it helps Ford to increase the sales, because here in Brazil VW and FIAT are the leaders...
Itīs based in the new Ford Fiesta, have 3 engines, 1.0 supercharger; 1.6 these two are the Zetec Rocan and 2.0 duratec.
All uses gasoline.
There are even a refigerator in the deck as you can see....it is very nice to drive...next semester is going to have a 4WD sample.

It really looks like the FUSION but in fact it is a SUV, a small one, but a SUV.
And it sells a lot here in Brazil because is cheapper than the Vitara, Kia Sportage, GM Tracker, Mitsubishi Pajero TR, they are very expensive than this Ford Eco Sport.
Kwam deze vandaag tegen, persoonlijk vind ik wel dat het wat heeft, leuker dan de Streetka (alleen dan weer jammer van die achterlichten...). Vraag me af offie zo uit de fabriek komt of dat het een knap staaltje handwerk is geweest

Balen eigenlijk dat er niet lekker geroddeld en achterklapt kan worden over een opvolger van de Ka. Of de Ka 'renewed'.
Ik informeerde laatst nog bij zo'n salespipo in de garage, maar die "wist van niets". Nou kan dat natuurlijk, maar ik vind het wel balen.
Heeft iemand betere contacten (bij Ford Nederland bijv.) om ze daarover eens te polsen?
